Chianti is a Turkish Van. He was born in New Ellenton, South Carolina at Mrs.Karen Hooker's house, Pairodocs Turkish Vans, son of Piano Man and Allie, you can see Piano Man in this page, click here. He was purchased via Internet and he flew from South Carolina to Miami where his aunts Yolanda Fley and Risqui Company took care of him during two days and Gunther brought him to our family in his own hands. He is an American cat, living in Brazil, brought by a German, with a Turkish origin with itailian/brazilian behavior. He arrived, was freed from his cage, start to walk and the heart of my wife at that exact moment belonged to him. He is our happiness today, he is the absolute owner of the house, he has a private fountain and he owns also our king size bed., sometimes we can sleep there too. Everything that happens at home, he is aware about or investigating and everything we do, we consider the great cat as first priority. He is smart, extremelly smart and we are quite sure that he will talk someday. He is a copy of my wife, loves as few as possible people around him, hates leaving home, he has her personality.
He loves to: Stay in front
of the monitor while you're working on the computer He hates: To be in any
person arms, but cute girls
It is time to tell you all, what a Turkish Van is: Turkish Vans has the origin at the lake Van in Turkey, close to the Armenian border from where you can see the Ararat Mountain and if you look close, very close you can see Noah trying to rebuilt his arch. There are less than 30 Turkish Vans in the Lake Van region nowadays, some American (like Karen) and English breeders are saving the Turksih Vans from extintion, but a normal litter is barely composed of more than two Turkish Vans. In Brazil, as far as we know there is just Chianti and he is anxious to get married, we have to find a bride for him. |
